CG's Biography
Mr. Murat Erkol, born in Yerköy in 1964, joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1988 following his military service. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities both at the Ministry’s headquarters and at Türkiye’s missions abroad.
Mr. Erkol is married and has two children.
He assumed his duties as Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Mashhad on 15 September 2025.
